What's the pettiest thing you've ever done?
Or had done to you. We won't judge. We'll probably laugh.
How to send it
Email it to stories@pettyass.com. A few sentences is plenty. If it happened over text, you can type the messages out. Please don't send screenshots with anyone's name, number or face in them.
What we're looking for
- Small stakes, big energy. Tupperware, parking, group projects, birthdays.
- Stuff that happened to you, or that you did.
- Names changed, or no names at all.
- You're 18 or older.
What we won't post
- Anything that could get a real person identified. Names, workplaces, usernames, photos, the street they live on.
- Revenge that cost someone their job, their money, their safety or their relationship. That's not petty anymore.
- Stories about kids.
- Anything illegal, even if it was very satisfying.
- Punching down. If the joke only works because someone has less power than you, it's not for here.
If we use it
- We'll probably trim it and change more details so nobody can be recognised.
- We might turn it into a chat like the ones on the stories page.
- We won't put your story or your exact words on merch without asking you first.
- You can ask us to take it down later. Just email.
Sending a story means you're OK with us publishing it this way. The terms say the same thing in more words.
